he other day, Matt and I were driving back from the park, and I saw someone cartopping a Sunfish that I swear looked like the one that was stolen from the club 2 years ago. Oh well. I hope they put it to good use. (Bastards.)

The sailing team is up at Northwestern University again today, racing 420′s. I’m stuck down here cuz I had to study. (At least I don’t have to take the SAT this weekend, like my cousin Daniel!)

So, to make up for it, Matt and I are going sailing this afternoon. Another guy wants to come along, but he’s bringing 2 friends who’ve never sailed before. I wouldn’t normally mind, but… The guys took the sailing club car, so all I have is my little Toyota Corolla. And I do *NOT* fancy pulling a 600-lbs boat (with rigging and gear) 45 miles with my little 4-cylinder inline engine. If it’s just Matt and I, I could bring one of the lighter boats (250 lbs).

Ah, the life of a trailer sailor is forever entwined with that of one’s car.
