I just have to vent. There are new websites cropping up every day that try to cater to medical people. I commend them for their efforts, but I have to say, Dynamed has absolutely nil to say about hypothyroidism in neonates. It is mostly geared towards helping either medical students or people in internal medicine.
Emedicine is wonderful for both doctors and patients.
Up To Date is also very helpful for summaries, especially of reviews.
PubMed is an old standby.
The National Library of Medicine blows everyone else in the world out of the water. I won’t even apologize. That’s just the way it is.
We have the CDC.
We have LexisNexis.
And best of all, we have Black Cherry Fresca. (Although Matt would say that “cough-syrup”-tasting Fresca is not something to be proud of.)
