Arctic Fronts
The moon had a distinct halo around it tonight. We are expected to get snow this week. And in spite of that, I have my first real vacation in MONTHS starting next week, and by golly, I’m going to go sailing this vacation, . . . even if it means I have to get out an ice-pick and sit at the bow, cracking up the ice.
I am positive our neighbors, with their houses all strung up like airport landing strips, will look out onto the lake and go, “Someone is sailing? In THIS weather?”
If I can go sailing in the middle of February in Illinois, then December in Texas can’t be that bad. I’ve just got to find my wetsuit. . . .
