  • Gas with Oily Discharge

After watching the shuttle launch this afternoon, we left the television on briefly, which was just long enough to view a commercial for herpes simplex medication.  I walked away, but Matt turned to me and asked, “What’s the drug that causes gas and oily discharge?”  I didn’t know.

In case anyone is wondering, it’s Xenical.

    Changes in one’s bowel movements. . .

“. . . may include gas with oily discharge, an
increased number of bowel movements, an urgent need to have them, and
an inability to control them. . . .

Good God!  What an engrossing commercial to view during your evening meal.  A hearty “Thank You!” to the makers of Xenical.
